The right to vote – a rare privilege
In 2024, a record-breaking number of people will vote in elections. But only one in five people in the world have a free and fair vote.
Last Thursday I voted in the UK general election.
The outcome was a foregone conclusion, and the result in my constituency was only going to go one way. I also felt there were more consequential elections – the US and France among others.
